  • International Awareness Day 2008 in Ottawa
    Saturday May 31, 2008: Despite pouring rain, more than 1800 practitioners of the Taoist Tai Chi® internal art of taijiquan enthusiastically participated in the International Taoist Tai Chi Awareness Day demonstration outside parliament house in Ottawa, and the following parade through the streets of Ottawa.
  • More Than 2,800 Celebrate Fung Loy Kok Temple Grand Opening
    Saturday September 8, 2007: Following the Awareness Day demonstration and parade in downtown Toronto in the morning, more than 2,800 people attended the historic Grand Opening of the Fung Loy Kok Temple, part of the Quiet Cultivation Centre, at the International Taoist Tai Chi Centre. On the Thursday and Friday prior to the Grand Opening, a temple enlivening ceremony was conducted, followed by more chanting and ceremonies which included special guest participants from Hong Kong.
  • International Taoist Tai Chi Awareness Day 2007
    September 8, 2007 Society members from some 27 countries around the world converged on downtown Toronto to celebrate the many benefits of Taoist Tai Chi internal arts and methods.
  • Vancouver Grand Opening a Great Success (includes photo gallery)
    A large crowd of 700 people, including local dignitaries and international visitors, attended the grand opening of the Taoist Tai Chi Society of Canada new centre in Vancouver on Saturday 7 April.
