Taoist Tai Chi® internal art of taijiquan classes started in Maple Creek in April 2002 when an instructor moved into the area. Today, along with local classes, we also support a class in Medicine Hat. Local instructors and members regularly visit Taoist Tai Chi Society of Canada locations in Calgary and Regina for workshops and other events.
Annual events in Maple Creek include a regional workshop held in July, as well as fund-raising summer barbeques for which local grocers donate food. In the past we have used these barbeques to raise funds for Society projects such as the Quiet Cultivation Centre and the 2005 tsunami relief effort.

Classes
We offer regular beginner classes and an on-going continuing level class. New beginner classes start each year in February and September. The class schedule below has the detailed information.
