Taoist Tai Chi Society of Canada
Western Region
Our name in Chinese

Grande Prairie

The Taoist Tai Chi® internal art of taijiquan was first taught in Grande Prairie in the fall of 1988. We rented a location in 1990 and had the Grand Opening in May of that year. We host a Spring and Fall regional workshop. As well, we have intensives and social events that are coordinated with the members of the Fairview club.

Our members and instructors regularly travel to workshops in the region and in other provinces. There was a Fung Loy Kok Taoist Shrine at our location from May 1990 to June 2005.
