Crowsnest Pass
Taoist Tai Chi Society™ internal art of Tai Chi Chuan (taijiquan) classes started in the Municipality of Crowsnest Pass in February 2008 when an instructor moved into the area. Our first Beginner Class was held February to May 2008, with the first Continuing Class commencing in June 2008. We hosted a Beginner Intensive Workshop in July 2008, with instructors from Calgary and High River. Our local instructor and members visit Taoist Tai Chi Society of Canada locations in Calgary (our home club), Regina and Edmonton for workshops and other events. In June 2008 we had a team, Tai Chi for Life, in the Crowsnest Pass Relay for Life, and raised $2,910 for the fight to erase cancer.

Classes
The next beginner class in Crowsnest Pass will be held from September to December 2008. Continuing classes run year round. If you are new to the Society, please visit the classes Web page for more information about the class types and what to expect. The fees page lists the costs and membership types.

Join us in celebration! Everyone is welcome! The members of the Taoist Tai Chi Society™ and our guests from the public are invited to help us collect 400lbs of non-perishable food for the Calgary Interfaith Food Bank. Come watch a Lion Dance at noon, visit with the community during lunch, participate in a Taoist Tai Chi™ demo or learn a few moves!
