We began teaching the Taoist Tai Chi® internal art of taijiquan at Cochrane in 1992. Our first classes were taught in available space at a church. In time, we moved to our present location at the “Cochrane Dance Debut” studio, with its convenient mirrored walls.
Upon request, we do demonstrations for schools, health fairs and other events in the Cochrane area. Our Instructors and members regularly participate at Society events in Calgary and elsewhere.

Classes
We offer regular beginner classes and year-round continuing level classes. The class schedule below has the detailed information. If you are new to the Society, please visit the classes Web page for more information about the class types and what to expect. The fees page lists the costs and membership types.
Beginner classes start twice a year, in January and September. We usually have a demo and registration at 10:00 am on the second Saturday of both months. The beginner class times are subject to change each session depending on the studio schedule.
