Taoist Tai Chi Society of Canada
Western Region
Our name in Chinese

Canmore

Taoist Tai Chi Society® internal art of taijiquan classes started in Canmore in early 1987. We leased a space at 713 - 8th Street from 1994 to present and are currently looking for a new location. Prior to that we rented from a senior’s lodge. The Canmore and Calgary locations have shared a close relationship for many years. Canmore members have served on the governing body for the Western Region and our instructors travel regularly to workshops in the region. Over the years, Canmore has hosted seven “Tai Chi in the Mountains” workshops.
